How to feel about chivalry as a feminist? When men display "classic" chivalry (e.g. holding doors, pulling out the chair, having me walk on the inside of the sidewalk, paying the bill), I often wonder if they're only doing this to stroke their own ego...but I also really enjoy it. And yet I don't fully trust it, knowing how many men feel about women. How does the concept of chivalry factor into feminism?
