Men often seem mystified that their partners are reading me, but the reasons women read me are entirely obvious.

Men email me with questions about their marriages a lot. They all seem shocked that their partners are unhappy, and wonder why their wives are reading me. Many of them blame me for radicalizing their partners—as if it would be possible to radicalize women who are being treated well in their marriages.

If your wife is reading me, it means two things: 1) she is gaining more self-esteem, and 2) she’s going to be expecting more from you. So what does it all mean? And what should men do when their partners send them my work?
