Results of my survey of women criminally victimized by men
Are crimes against women crimes at all?
Our collective answer seems to be “no,” when the perpetrator is a man—and especially if he is her romantic partner. Women victimized by men may believe a crime is just part of romance, or suspect that their victimization won’t matter in court. And many men view it as their right to do whatever they want to women. Many of those same men work in law enforcement or the judicial system.
So it should come as no surprise that so many women are crime victims, and so many men have committed crimes against women with impunity.
I wanted to know what happens to women when a man commits a crime against them. This data—the product of dozens of hours of work—is the product of my research.
It—along with the results of all my other surveys, as well as eight extra posts a week and hundreds of thousands of words of content, not to mention the highly supportive private Liberating Motherhood support group—is available to anyone who would like to pay to support this work.
I am releasing this survey as part of my semi-annual member drive, so new subscribers get a massive discount as well as a ton of other benefits that you can learn about here.
