The silence of so many, including many feminists, on the appalling crimes being carried out in Gaza against mostly women and children, is chilling to my core. To quote something I read recently, when a child cries out for their mamma, and we know their mamma is no longer alive, then they are calling out to all mammas - the children of Gaza are calling out to all of us mothers, and we must not ignore their cries.
