I was fuming when I read that “advice” article. As someone that has ADHD, it’s maddening to see these horrendous behaviors dismissed as ADHD rather than just his plain disregard for her and her needs. There’s already enough stigma behind ADHD without adding this guy’s bullshit to it.

Right? It's unbelievably sexist and ableist.

This is an amazing idea— we need you! Thank you.

While I am unable to read the Slate advice column due to paywall, I am pretty happy for you to call out bad advice because I see them way too much of it. It is damaging especially for women who are in the vulnerable place of new motherhood.

You would not believe the amount of men (from all racial backgrounds) on social media complaining that they should get sex from their partners no matter her emotional, mental or physical state at the moment. She could have a throbbing migraine and they believe that it's STILL her wifely duty and it may just be the thing to cure her physical discomfort.

It is super weird, bizarre and rapey. Why would ANY sexually healthy male even WANT to engage sex when his partner is not in a mood to engage back fully and enjoy it?

Because, as Zawn mentions above, it’s about his intentions. If he respected and truly loved his partner, this would not be his behaviour. Men are not so very left of centre that they don’t know what they’re doing. They know.

They just don’t see the value in taking the time to elevate a woman, to satisfy and be truly satisfied by a woman - they see no value in a true connection, an equal, balanced and loving back and forth.

These men are not for women. They are all about themselves and are more of a danger to women’s mental health than a lot of us women are realising.

No way he “accidentally” anally penetrated her; he definitely did it on purpose. There is an entire category about this in porn in which the men film this happening and get off on the pain they cause the woman. She should accidentally anally penetrate him next time with something large.

I couldn’t agree more. More men need to be pegged, and be taken down a peg or 700.

Can you imagine the outrage of men if this was a thing that women just did to them?
